We can assist you in all matters of your project or home with energy efficiency advice, reports and assessments. We are qualified, certified and insured to assist and advise on carrying out energy efficiency measures on domestic residential, traditional and older buildings (pre 1919 built). We understand and recognise the key characteristics of traditional and older buildings, such as property’s age, heritage values and significance. We are able to assess and assist you with options for the introduction of energy efficiency measures suitable, available and any works required prior to any installation, including recommendations and advice for the installation of energy efficiency measures and other works involved. We maybe able to assist you in applying for support from the Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS), which requires a full retrofit assessment and maybe able to get free or cheaper insulation to reduce your home’s energy bills.

what is retrofit?

what is pas 2035?

"PAS 2035:2019 is the overarching British standard for Retrofitting dwellings for improved energy efficiency. Put simply, it provides specification and guidance for the retrofit of domestic buildings, and details best practice guidance for domestic retrofit projects. What makes PAS 2035 different, is the approach to the retrofit process which is considered to be ‘whole house’ or ‘whole building’ retrofit. This approach considers the home, environment, occupancy and the householders’ improvement objectives when determining the most suitable measures to install. It also eliminates the issue of retrofit work being considered in isolation which can unintentionally damage the overall building performance." Elmhurst Energy
