new build Energy performance certificate (EPC) and SAP Calculations

New build Energy Performance Certificates (EPC), Energy Calculations, including Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) and U-Value Calculations for new build homes to make sure to comply with the Building Regulations across England and Wales. This is required for both at design stages as a Predicted Energy Assessment (PEA) and once the building has been built (As Built EPC). We will then issue the necessary Compliance Report, including the as built EPC to your appointed building control/building contractor, which is a requirement for the final sign off process. We will work from specifications provided, including drawings received and use the Approved Government Software to calculate the Energy Efficiency Score.

Our Design stage service

Our design stage service, includes the production of the SAP Calculations, the Compliance Advice Report and the Predicted Energy Assessment (PEA) Certification. We will assist you or your appointed building contractor on analysing the various construction details and requirements in order to achieve the required energy efficiency target to comply with the Building Regulations across England and Wales.

Energy Performance of Buildings Certificates in England and wales
"If works are carried out to create a new buildings(s), either by means of new build or by conversion of an existing building (for example, subdivision of an existing building into flats or change of use of an office), the person responsible for the construction must obtain an EPC once construction has been completed. This will also apply if a building is converted into fewer or more units designed for separate occupation and there are changes to the heating, hot water provision or air conditioning/ventilation services." GOV.UK
